Giving FAQs

Can I give monthly or just once?

Monthly sustaining donors are vital and essential to keeping our program growing and thriving in Yamhill County. We welcome any donations, of any amount.

What are my donations used for?

All donations go directly towards our mission of nurturing children and strengthening families right here in our local Yamhill County Community.

Are you a non-profit? Do I get a tax deduction?

Yes! A Family Place is a program of Lutheran Community Services Northwest Tax ID #93-0386860. All donations are tax deductible.

Support FAQs

Are you a preschool or daycare?

No, A Family Place offers a therapeutic classroom program for qualifying families as one part of the services we offer. To learn if you qualify, please apply through Family Core.

Can I get help or diapers on days other than Thursdays?

Our Diaper Banks are open to the public on Thursdays from 10am – 12pm. If you need assistance on another day or can’t make it to the diaper bank please email: afpreferral@lcsnw.org or call 971-241-9258

Do I have to register or provide a voucher for help?

No! There is no voucher, enrollment or reservation required. We only provide support, no judgement.
