To help parents get off to a strong start trained staff support and empower families to build nurturing parent-child relationships, learn about child development, and access community resources. This program is a free, voluntary home visiting program that offers support and education to families who are expecting or parenting newborns. In-home family support is offered weekly in the beginning, then varies in frequency as services continue. Apply through Family Core to see if you qualify.
Relief Nursery
Highly stressed families with children ages 0-5 are provided free voluntary in-home support focused on their immediate needs and building nurturing parent-child relationships. In some cases, children can receive additional support through therapeutic classrooms that are designed to meet the social-emotional needs of toddlers and preschoolers. Apply through Family Core to see if you qualify.
Our Mental Health program helps people find the strength to heal and respond to many of life’s challenges. We provide a broad range of trauma-informed and culturally-competent mental health services to support children, adolescents, families, caregivers and other adults. Our experienced clinicians seek to understand each person’s unique situation, and then develop a plan to assist individuals on their path to wellness through counseling and skill building.
Families facing severe issues may need to place their children temporarily outside of their home so the parents/caregivers can focus on stabilizing their life. Through the Safe Families for Children program, we can help place children in safe, loving homes where the parents can maintain contact with their children.
